DhuJFor Windows 10 and 11
Find it. Send it.
DhuJ finds files on your PC by name or by the text inside them, then lets you send or move what you found without leaving the app.
Runs without administrator rights. Your files never leave your PC.
What DhuJ does
A search tool for people who work with a lot of files: code, logs, documents and spreadsheets.
File-name search as you type
Results appear while you type. The list of file names is kept up to date as files change.
Search inside files Pro
Find text and patterns inside code, logs and text files, with the matching line shown next to each result.
Word and Excel search Pro
Search inside .docx and .xlsx files with nothing extra to install or set up.
AND, OR, NOT
Combine words, for example error OR warning or timeout NOT test, and limit a search to certain file types.
Send or move what you find Pro
Send or move a file to another folder straight from the result row.
No administrator rights
DhuJ installs for your own Windows user, which suits managed work laptops.
Search on servers over SSH Coming
Searching inside files on a server without installing anything there is in development. It is not in the current build.
